Webassign is an online site that is mostly used by the PCSE department as a system that tracks and manages engineering and physics homework. It allows multiple submissions of answers by students and returns instant notification of which answers were correct. It is dreaded (by most) since it has a tendency to want very precise numbers (not the same as accurate), and getting the number of digits and such minor details "just right" takes up many hours of otherwise gamefully (I mean, er, gainfully) employed time.
