- The process of being academically humiliated, emotionally scarred and psychologically damaged as a result of enrolling in a course taught by Dr. Knipp.
- The act of having one's ass handed back to one via a physics course.
- The realization that no matter how good your excuse (aliens invade earth, contracting ebola, you died and were re-animated as one of the undead), Dr. Knipp will still not let you redo an assignment (this often results in a student failing the course).
