John Hyland

Dr. John Hyland, Ph.D. is an assistant professor of History at CNU and a fairly new addition to the faculty. In addition to teaching HIST 111 and 112, Dr. Hyland teaches courses including Greek and Roman history, as well as the history of medieval Europe. Being primarily an ancient historian, his research interests include ancient warfare and Achaemanid Persia, and he works closely with the classical studies faculty and the CNU Classics Club.
Dr. Hyland is a graduate of Cornell and the University of Chicago.
