Gosnold Annex is a small, squat building, connected by an overhang and breezeway to the main building.

It has one classroom, a lecture hall. The room slopes downward to a central area with auditorium-style half-arcing in front of and facing it. It is equipped with various audio-visual technology, and in-between classes it has been used for the showing of movies by various campus groups. (For example, "Rome" showings were hosted here at one point, as well as the CNUcon anime marathon which took place during the 2006 Spring semester).

Easily accessible and clearly visible through glass doors and panels is a large area with fine wooden flooring that is home to Einstein's Cafe. It is decorated with art, decent work-tables, and a big smacking picture of its eponymic humanist (yep, Einstein). Certain teachers have used it as an office-hour space, especially those whose assigned offices are relatively distant or otherwise less suitable than the cafe's open atmosphere.

It also houses the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Dean Gordon, in something of a twisting alleyway of back rooms that snake around the large space reserved for Einstein's. TwoFlowers notes that the Dean is quite friendly and seems to like talking with students, but he is a busy person.
